Back in Class, Theme Is: We’ll Succeed With Less

Public school in New York City are dealing with a new school year full of budget cuts and higher testing standards, which has caused a high rise in the number of students to potentially fail.  However, despite new issues, new programs are being implemented to help students succeed.

 With over a million children in the school system in New York City, basic funding, without fun extras, is necessary.  Sometimes, though, that basic funding isn't even available.  These public schools are doing the best they can with the available resources.  In relation to PR, the implementation of new programs and secondary schools shows that just because there are obstacles doesn’t mean that good things can’t be done in the NYC public school system. 

Because the NYC public school system is so large and deals with a lot of poverty-stricken families, unfortunately there is not really an option of making an Education Foundation and being successful with it.
