Sony has purchased a convergent news system that will integrate video along with other print and online publications. The company Sony is working with is called Convergent Media Systems, based out of Alpharetta , Ga.
Video can add a lot to a website, and this is an example of a huge corporation trying to improve its media. In today's society, convergent media is a must. All aspects of media are necessary, including video, print, and social media.
Sony seems to be trying to progress their sales and marketability by providing additional opportunities for someone to view the products they provide. This is responsible consumerism because they are trying to be competitive with other electronics companies, reinforcing the free market system that the U.S.
